ALL ABOUT HORWICH FARM

The Hinchliffe family moved to Horwich Farm in the 1980's and have diversified over the more recent years.

Beef cattle are bred and raised here as well as a flock of around 300 sheep.

Favouring the New Zealand Romney breed of sheep for their hardy nature they are farmed outdoors all year including lambing season - much to the gratitude of the walkers passing the fields, who enjoy the bouncing new lambs.

A small number of free-range hens lay eggs which can be bought from the Horwich Farm post box.

The farm also has a popular horse livery where they accommodate many horses in pleasant stables with on-site menage and cross country run.

As well as farming, Horwich Farm offers holiday accommodation at Horwich Farm Cottages and High Peak Hideaways.

Horwich Farm Cottages have been successfully hosting large groups for over 20 years in adjoining barn conversions suited to sleep 8-16 where hiring one or both cottages.

High Peak Hideaways are the newest addition to the farm and offer luxury accommodation, each with a private hot tub on decked patio.
